Shared Visions: A Poetry Reading and Presentation on Poetry and the Visual Arts

A special evening with renowned poet Ingrid Wendt who will be reading from her five-volume body of work and giving a presentation on collaborations between poets and visual artists. Her husband, Pulizer Prize-nominated poet Ralph Salisbury, will also make an apperance. This one hour program at the Villa Terrace is through a partnership with Woodland Pattern Bookcenter, who is hosting a reading by Ralph Salisbury on Saturday, June 2, 2012.

The Decorative Impulse

The Decorative Impulse brings together six international metalsmiths whose work actively engages with the decorative arts to pose provocative questions about the place of the decorative in current art dialogs.

First Summer Cafe & Chair Preview Day

Sunday, June 3 - 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Come celebrate the start of summer at the official opening and 10th Anniversary of the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum's Renaissance Garden. Our Summer Cafe series begins on this day too, along with a preview of "art" chairs to be auctioned Wednesday, June 20th at the Villa Terrace to benefit the museum's preservation and programing.
